OTTAWA. ON- Melissa Lantsman, Deputy Leader of the Official Opposition and Matt Jeneroux, the Member of Parliament for Edmonton Riverbend, released the following statement on the murder of 22 year old Mahsa Amini, by the Iranian regime.

“This is another heartbreaking act of brutality against the women of Iran. We stand with Iranian people who are fighting for their freedom.

“In 2018 the House of Commons voted to declare IRGC a terrorist organization and this Government has not acted to do so.

“The Government needs to immediately list the IRGC as a terrorist group. It must happen now.”
