Today we learned of the passing of former Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Brian Mulroney. His loss is profoundly felt by all who knew him and by the nation he served with such dedication and distinction.

Brian Mulroney was not only a towering figure in Canadian politics but also a compassionate leader whose legacy will endure through the countless lives he touched. Through his time as Prime Minister, he helped navigate Canada through a changing world and domestic challenges, while planning for the future. After he left politics, Mr. Mulroney continued to have an impact through his work, including with the Brian Mulroney Institute of Government. His unwavering commitment to public service, his vision for a better Canada, and his tireless efforts to bring people together will continue to be felt and remembered.
