EDMONTON, AB – Upon hearing the absurd comments and the incredibly out-of-touch statement made in the House of Commons by another Member, Member of Parliament Matt Jeneroux issued the following statement:

“Nowhere is it okay to condemn the right for one individual to love another in our country. Love is love.

“MP Tamara Jansen’s comments in the House of Commons on April 16 are quite simply obtuse and I urge our party leader to join me and others by outright condemning them.

“I will once again be voting in favour of Bill C-6, as I’ve done consistently from the start of the debate.”
