OTTAWA, ON- Matt Jeneroux, the Member of Parliament for Edmonton Riverbend, released the following statement on the CPC voting for new leadership.

“Today, our caucus voted for a change in leadership. Canadians are proud of our identity, as a society that is forward-thinking, globally competitive and a safe place to live. A country that is fiscally responsible and cares about our neighbours. We want our leadership to clearly reflect these values.

“As a party, we must rebuild trust amongst Canadians and show them that we are strong and stable leaders who are rooted in our conservative values while also understanding that we can evolve, learn, and modernize our party to reflect all.

“This is an opportunity for the party, and I look forward to ensuring we work together on a strong path forward.”
