Like many Albertans, I understand the frustration that has built up over the years and the strong desire to see our home treated fairly and with respect.

We are a province of farmers, trades people, innovators, and leaders who have come together to through good times and very difficult times to build our nation’s economy and identity. Our history, our sacrifices, and our future are intimately tied together. Alberta’s place in our nation’s fabric is integral to Canada’s identity, as is every province, city and community across the country. Together, we are the heart of a united Canada, strong enough to face challenges together and proud enough to keep fighting for each other.

We are finally seeing meaningful progress — with stronger support for Alberta energy, new investment and pipeline development, and a growing recognition across the country that Alberta’s success is critical to Canada’s success.

There is still work ahead, but as Albertans we will, as we always have, continue to stand together. By continuing to fight passionately for our interests we can and will build an even stronger Canada.
