Ottawa, ON – Matt Jeneroux, the Member of Parliament for Edmonton Riverbend, issued the following statement on the announced NDP- Liberal coalition government:

“As inflation rises and the cost of everything increases, Trudeau knows he is losing the confidence of Canadians. The NDP-Liberal coalition is an attempt by the Prime Minister to hold on to power.

“Canadians did not vote for an NDP government and deserve to know what back room deal was made. There needs to be accountability.

“If this NDP-Liberal coalition stands, Canada’s affordability crisis will only get worse.”
